This Acceptable Use Policy (Policy) sets out the rules that apply when using the Quote M8 web app, dashboard, and related Services (Services). It forms part of the Terms and Conditions between you (Customer) and Quote M8 Ltd (we, us, our).
If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not use the Services.
1. General principles
You must use the Services responsibly and in compliance with:
- all applicable laws and regulations
- this Policy
- our Terms and Conditions
You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.
2. Prohibited use
You must not use the Services to:
a. Unlawful or harmful activity
- break any applicable law or regulation
- send or create content that is fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise unlawful
- infringe another person’s rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights
- send unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, marketing, or spam
- collect or store personal data without consent or lawful basis
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity
b. Platform or system misuse
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or security of the Services
- upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
- access, attempt to access, or probe non-public areas of the Service or its systems
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- bypass usage limits, rate limits, or security controls
- overload or attempt to disable the Services
c. AI misuse
- use AI-generated content in a way that is deceptive, misleading, or unlawful
- rely on AI-generated content without proper review or verification
- use outputs for automated decision-making that affects individuals without complying with data protection laws
d. WhatsApp usage
When using WhatsApp Business integration, you must:
- use your own WhatsApp Business account
- comply with WhatsApp’s Business Terms and Messaging Guidelines
- not send bulk, spam, or automated messages outside WhatsApp’s approved use
- not use Quote M8 to send messages that breach WhatsApp’s or any carrier’s
acceptable use rules
3. Fair use
Your subscription includes the usage limits described in your plan.
You must not exceed those limits through automation, repeated free trials, or account duplication.
If your usage materially exceeds normal levels or affects other customers, we may throttle or suspend your account after notice.
4. Security obligations
You must:
- keep login credentials secure and confidential
- prevent unauthorised access to your account
- notify us immediately at support@quotem8.ai if you suspect unauthorised use or a security incident
We may suspend or require password changes if we detect suspicious activity.
5. Breach of this policy
If you breach this Policy, we may:
- suspend or terminate your access immediately
- remove or disable offending content
- report unlawful activity to authorities
- take legal action to recover losses caused by your misuse
No refund will be issued for periods of suspension or termination caused by your breach.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy at any time to reflect operational, legal, or security changes.
We will notify you of material updates by email or through the platform.
Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
